Every tour on this site is booked by WhatsApp message. Tapping any booking button opens WhatsApp with the tour name, location, duration and price already filled in — you add your date, the number of people and your hotel, and send it. There is no account to create and no online payment form.

No prepayment is required. You book on WhatsApp and pay in cash or by card on the day, in Indonesian rupiah.

One to two days ahead is usually enough for ATV, rafting and snorkeling in Bali. Book earlier for the Nusa Penida manta trip in peak season, for large groups, and for the Silver Class on Nusa Penida, where studio capacity is limited.

Yes. There is no charge to move a booking to another date as long as you tell us more than 24 hours before the activity starts. Send a WhatsApp message to the same number you booked on.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts. Cancellations inside 24 hours, or a no-show at the meeting point, are charged in full. There is no charge to move your booking to another date if you tell us before the 24-hour window.

Yes. Group sizes on these activities run up to 20 people depending on the tour, and larger groups can be split across multiple boats, rafts or departure times. Send the group size on WhatsApp and it will be arranged before you commit.

All activities are charged in Indonesian rupiah (IDR). The US dollar figures shown on this site are indicative only and move with the exchange rate.

Messages are typically answered within a few minutes during opening hours, which are 07:00 to 14:00 WITA (Bali time), seven days a week. Messages sent outside those hours are answered the next morning.

An ATV ride in Bali costs between IDR 400,000 and IDR 650,000 per person depending on the track. Jatiluwih is the cheapest at IDR 400,000, Ubud is IDR 500,000, the Barong Cave track at Sukawati is IDR 550,000, and Kintamani and Uluwatu are IDR 600,000. The Ubud tandem machine is IDR 650,000 for two people sharing.

Ayung River rafting near Ubud costs IDR 350,000 per person for two hours, and Melangit River rafting at Bakas costs IDR 450,000. Both include a licensed river guide, all safety equipment and lunch afterwards.

Snorkeling in Bali costs from IDR 110,000 per person. Shared snorkeling at Nusa Penida is IDR 110,000 for two hours, Blue Lagoon at Padang Bai and Tanjung Benoa are IDR 120,000, and manta ray snorkeling at Nusa Penida is IDR 170,000 for 2.5 hours.

Almost every price on this site is per person. The one exception is the Tandem ATV Adventure in Ubud, where IDR 650,000 buys the machine and carries two people — IDR 325,000 each. Every price on the site states its basis directly underneath it.

The listed price covers the activity, the guide and all safety equipment. Hotel transfer, meals where not stated, site entrance fees on Nusa Penida, and the fast boat between Sanur and Nusa Penida are arranged separately and quoted before you book.

One of them does directly: the Ayung Rafting and Private ATV combo is IDR 700,000 against IDR 850,000 for the two booked separately, a saving of IDR 150,000. The other combos cost more than the sum of their activities because they include the driver and the transfer between two locations an hour or more apart.

Children who take part pay the standard per-person price for these activities. The cheaper route for families is the tandem ATV in Ubud, where a child rides as a passenger behind an adult on one IDR 650,000 machine.

No driving licence is required to ride an ATV in Bali on a private track. Riders receive a briefing and a practice lap before the tour starts.

The minimum age to drive an ATV on these private tracks is 12. Children from about 5 can ride as a passenger on a tandem machine with an adult driving, which is how most families with younger children do the tour.

Yes. The Tandem ATV Adventure in Ubud puts two people on one machine for IDR 650,000, which is IDR 325,000 each. The driver and passenger can swap at any of the stops along the track.

No. The machines are automatic with no gears to change, and every tour starts with a safety briefing and a practice lap on flat ground before the track begins. The guide sets the pace to the slowest rider in the group rather than the fastest.

The Ubud private tracks are the muddiest, with a deep mud puddle section that riders can either take head-on or bypass on a dry line. The Sukawati Barong Cave track is a close second. Kintamani and Uluwatu are dry and dusty rather than muddy.

The Kintamani ATV ride across the Mount Batur lava field has the most dramatic landscape, with the caldera wall above and Lake Batur below. Jatiluwih, through the UNESCO-listed rice terraces below Mount Batukaru, is the greenest.

On the Ubud and Sukawati tracks expect to finish covered in mud from the knees down, and completely covered if you take the deep line through the mud puddle. Showers, soap and a changing room are available at the base afterwards.

The working limit is around 120 kg for a single machine. If you are close to that figure, mention it on WhatsApp when booking so the right machine is prepared.

Yes, and it is the best way to get your own footage. Use a secure chest or helmet mount rather than holding a camera — both hands stay on the machine — and treat anything you bring as likely to get wet and muddy.

You do not need to be able to swim to go rafting in Bali. Every rafter wears a buoyancy jacket and a helmet, and a trained guide steers each boat.

The Ayung River near Ubud is the standard choice for first-time rafters. It runs at grade II–III over two hours, costs IDR 350,000 per person, and has long calm stretches between the rapids. The Telaga Waja River is grade III–IV and much more demanding.

The minimum age is 9 for the Ayung and Melangit rivers, and 12 for the Telaga Waja, which is grade III–IV and finishes with a drop over a dam.

Wear swimwear under quick-drying clothes, and sandals or shoes that strap on and will stay on your feet in fast water. Bring a full change of dry clothes and a towel — showers and changing rooms are available at the finish.

Yes. Both the Ayung River trip at IDR 350,000 and the Melangit River trip at IDR 450,000 include a buffet lunch served after the rafting, along with showers, a changing room and a locker for valuables.

The paddling itself is manageable for most people, since a licensed guide steers each boat. The most demanding part of an Ayung River trip is the walk of several hundred steps down into the gorge at the start and the climb back out at the end.

Non-swimmers can join these snorkeling trips. Buoyancy jackets are provided and worn for the whole time in the water, and a guide stays in the water with the group.

The north-west coast of Nusa Penida has the healthiest hard coral and the highest fish numbers within reach of Bali, particularly at Toyapakeh and Gamat Bay. Blue Lagoon at Padang Bai is the calmest and easiest site, and Manta Point at Nusa Penida is where reef mantas are seen.

Reef mantas are present at the Nusa Penida cleaning stations year-round, so there is no closed season. April to November generally brings calmer seas and better visibility on the exposed south coast where the manta sites are.

No. Manta rays at Nusa Penida are wild animals visiting cleaning stations at their own pace, and no operator can promise an encounter. Manta Point and Manta Bay are among the most reliable manta sites in the world, and the boat will try both.

The Nusa Penida sites sit in the Badung Strait, which moves a lot of water, so guides run them as drift snorkels — the group lets the current carry it along the reef while the boat follows. Buoyancy jackets are worn throughout and a guide stays in the water with the group.

The minimum age for these snorkeling trips is 7. The calmest sites for children are Blue Lagoon at Padang Bai and the sheltered lagoon at Tanjung Benoa, both IDR 120,000 per person.

No need. A mask, snorkel, fins and a buoyancy jacket are included with every snorkeling trip on this site. Bring reef-safe sunscreen or a rash vest instead, since these are protected reef areas.

Yes. The snorkeling prices for Nusa Penida cover the boat, gear and guide at the island itself. The fast boat between Sanur and Nusa Penida is arranged separately and can be booked alongside the trip on WhatsApp.

In a two-hour Silver Class most people make a ring, a pendant or a pair of simple earrings, and take the finished piece home the same day. The teacher will say at the start whether a more complex design fits the time.

No experience is needed. The Silver Class is designed for complete beginners, and the silversmith works alongside you for the technical steps such as soldering.

Each Silver Class booking includes up to 5 grams of silver. Pieces that need more silver than that are charged for the extra material at the studio, and you keep whatever you make.

The Silver Class runs in nine locations: Ubud, Seminyak, Canggu, Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, Sidemen and Nusa Penida. Each costs IDR 500,000 per person for two hours. Ubud is closest to Celuk, the village that has worked silver for generations.

The minimum age for the Silver Class is 10, because the workshop involves a soldering torch and sharp tools. Younger children can watch a parent work but cannot take a bench.

No. The prices on this site cover the activity, the guide and the equipment. Hotel pickup is arranged separately and priced according to where you are staying.

From Seminyak, Canggu or Kuta the Ubud tracks and rivers are 60 to 90 minutes away, Uluwatu is 45 to 80 minutes, Kintamani is about two hours, and Jatiluwih is 90 minutes to two hours. From Ubud most activities are within an hour except Kintamani and Jatiluwih.

You can ride to most of the meeting points by scooter, but several are down narrow unsealed lanes that map apps get wrong, so use the pin sent on WhatsApp. Nusa Penida in particular has steep, narrow roads that are better handled with a driver.

Every booking gets an exact map pin on WhatsApp before the day. This matters more than usual in Bali — several of the meeting points are on small lanes that mapping apps either miss or place incorrectly.

Tours run in light rain — the tracks are at their best when they are wet. If conditions are genuinely unsafe the activity is rescheduled or refunded in full, and that call is made by the guide on the day.

Yes — the tracks are at their best when wet, and the mud sections are the part most people remember. The Uluwatu limestone track drains fastest and copes best with heavy rain, while Kintamani is the least affected by mud.

ATV tours include a helmet, riding boots, gloves and a body protector for every rider. Rafting includes a helmet, a buoyancy jacket and a paddle. Snorkeling includes a mask, snorkel, fins and a buoyancy jacket. All of it is included in the price.

Yes. Activity insurance is included in the price of every tour on this site. Travellers should still carry their own travel insurance, and should check that it covers adventure activities.

Guides are local and English-speaking, ride or paddle with the group rather than sending it off alone, and river trips are run by licensed river guides. Every activity begins with a safety briefing before anything else happens.

Tell us on WhatsApp before booking. These are physical outdoor activities, and back problems, recent surgery, heart conditions and pregnancy are all worth raising in advance so the right tour — or a gentler alternative — can be suggested.

Wear clothes you do not mind ruining, because mud does not always wash out, and bring a full change plus a plastic bag for the wet ones. Arrive in closed shoes; riding boots, gloves, a helmet and a body protector are provided.

Lockers are available at the rafting starting points. On ATV tours and boat trips, take as little as possible and leave the rest in your vehicle or hotel — everything on these activities gets wet, muddy or both.

Guides will usually take photos on a phone at the stops, and river trips have a photographer whose images are sold separately at the finish. Bringing your own action camera on a secure strap is the most reliable way to get footage.

Yes. The ATV bases have showers, soap and a changing area, and the rafting finishing points have showers, changing rooms and lockers. Bring a towel — one is not provided.

Most ATV and snorkeling departures run between 07:00 and 14:00, with rafting usually at 09:00 and 12:00. The Lovina dolphin trip is the exception, leaving the beach at around 06:00 for sunrise.

Yes, and the combo packages are built for exactly that — two activities with the transfer between them included, from IDR 700,000 per person. Booking two separate activities on the same day also works if the locations are close.

The Silver Class runs entirely indoors in all nine locations at IDR 500,000 per person, which makes it the standard fallback when weather cancels an outdoor plan. ATV and rafting also run in light rain.
