Terms and conditions
These terms cover activities booked with PT KAY FAMILY GROUP BALI, trading as ATV in Bali. Booking an activity means accepting them. They are written in plain English rather than legal language, and they are governed by Indonesian law.
Who you are contracting with
Activities are operated by PT KAY FAMILY GROUP BALI, registered in Indonesia, at 77R6+RF3, Sanur, Denpasar Selatan, Bali 80228, Indonesia. Contact us on WhatsApp at +62 877-9285-5999 or by email at info@familytripsbali.com. The brand ATV in Bali and the Family Trips Bali brand refer to the same company. When you book, your contract is with us directly — we are the operator, not a reseller.
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed when we reply to your WhatsApp message confirming the date, the number of participants and the meeting point. Prices are quoted in Indonesian rupiah. Any US dollar figure shown on this site is indicative and moves with the exchange rate.
No prepayment is required. You book on WhatsApp and pay in cash or by card on the day, in Indonesian rupiah.
Prices may change, but a confirmed booking is honoured at the price confirmed to you.
Your responsibilities
You must give accurate information about the number of participants, ages, and any medical condition relevant to a physical outdoor activity. You must follow the safety briefing and the instructions of your guide at all times, and use the safety equipment provided for the whole activity.
Minimum ages apply per activity and are listed on each tour page and on the safety page: 12 to drive an ATV (younger children ride as a passenger on a tandem machine from about 5), 9 for the gentler rivers and 12 for Telaga Waja, 7 for snorkeling and 10 for the Silver Class. Participants below the minimum age for an activity cannot take part.
Risk
ATV riding, white water rafting and boat-based snorkeling carry inherent risk. We provide equipment, briefings and trained guides, and activity insurance is included in the price, and we take safety seriously — but no operator can remove risk from an outdoor adventure activity entirely. You are strongly advised to hold your own travel insurance and to check that it covers adventure activities.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, to the extent that such limitation is not permitted by Indonesian law. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal property brought on an activity — everything on these tours gets wet, muddy or both.
Photography
Guides may take photographs during an activity. If you would prefer not to appear in any image used for marketing, tell your guide on the day and we will not use it.
Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts. Cancellations inside 24 hours, or a no-show at the meeting point, are charged in full. There is no charge to move your booking to another date if you tell us before the 24-hour window.

Weather
Tours run in light rain — the tracks are at their best when they are wet. If conditions are genuinely unsafe the activity is rescheduled or refunded in full, and that call is made by the guide on the day.
Prices
Prices run from IDR 110,000 to IDR 800,000 and state their basis on every page — per person, or per machine where two riders share an ATV. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay; there is no booking fee and no surcharge added afterwards.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and any dispute falls to the courts of Bali.
