About Pertiwi Adventure
Pertiwi Adventure is in Bongkasa Pertiwi, a village in the Abiansemal district of Badung, north-west of Ubud. On a map it looks like a short hop from Ubud, but the Ayung River runs between them, so the road is about 18 km. Allow for that when you plan your day. This ride is about the countryside: mud tracks, jungle trails, rice fields and village roads, with a small river and a tunnel section along the way. You ride a 250cc automatic quad, single or tandem, behind a guide for about 1.5 hours, after a safety briefing. Drivers must be at least 12 and tandem passengers at least 5, so a family with younger children can ride together. Choose Pertiwi if you like the idea of seeing rural Bali from the saddle and getting properly muddy, and you do not mind a bit more time on the road to get there.

Good to know
Before you ride
- Drivers on a single ATV must be at least 12 and tandem passengers at least 5.
- Not suitable if you are pregnant, or if you have heart conditions or back problems.
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before your slot for registration and the safety briefing, and show your e-voucher.
- Wear comfortable outdoor clothes that can get muddy and bring a change for afterwards. Lockers, changing rooms and showers are on site.

How far is Pertiwi Adventure from Ubud?
About 18 km by road, even though it looks closer on a map, because the Ayung River lies between them. From Canggu it is about 29 km, from Sanur 32 km, from Seminyak 36 km and from Kuta 37 km. Traffic will add to the trip, so do not plan it too tightly.
What is the ground like at Pertiwi Adventure?
Expect mud tracks, jungle trails, rice fields and village roads, with a small river and a tunnel section. You will get dirty, so wear clothes you do not mind ruining and use the showers afterwards.
Can young children ride at Pertiwi Adventure?
Yes, as tandem passengers from 5. Anyone driving a single ATV must be at least 12. Younger children cannot join this ride.
Does Pertiwi Adventure pick-up reach Canggu or Seminyak?
Yes, for an extra charge. Pick-up options include the Ubud area, and from Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta, Sanur, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua or Uluwatu you pay an additional amount per car to the driver. Our Hotel pick-up page shows the current figures.
