What we collect

  • When you book. The booking box asks for your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number. Depending on the ride, it can also ask for your country, your hotel or pick-up address and answers such as dietary needs. This goes to Book in Bali (app.bookinbali.com), the booking system we use.
  • When you pay. We receive the amount, status and reference of your payment. You enter your payment details with the payment provider, so we do not see or store your card details.
  • When you message us. Your number or email address and what you write.
  • When you browse. Technical data such as IP address, browser and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider and, if we switch one on, an analytics or advertising tool.

This website has no contact form.

Why we use it

  • To make and manage your booking and send your e-voucher.
  • To tell the venue, and the driver if you have pick-up, who is coming and when.
  • To send messages about your booking, such as reminders, a note if an unpaid booking expires, and a request for a review after your ride.
  • To answer your questions.
  • To keep accounting and tax records.
  • To see how the site is used and improve it.

We do not sell personal data.

Who receives it

  • The venue running your ride, and the pick-up driver if you booked one.
  • Book in Bali, which stores your booking for us and sends booking emails.
  • The payment provider you choose on the booking page.
  • The email and messaging services we use, including WhatsApp, and our hosting provider.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as accounting and tax rules require. We keep other messages only as long as we need them to help you.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data. Some records must be kept by law. Message us on WhatsApp to ask. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

This website only uses the cookies it needs to work, unless we switch on analytics or advertising tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or the Meta pixel), which set their own cookies. The booking box loads from app.bookinbali.com and can store small items in your browser, such as your language or sign-in, plus analytics or advertising tags if they are switched on there. You can block cookies in your browser, but booking may then not work.

Earlier bookings

Bookings made on this website's earlier checkout stay in our own system, so their booking and voucher pages keep working.

Changes

We post any changes to this policy on this page.
